Levee Bank Dwellers take on Orange Emus in rugby
The Levee Bank Dwellers were the team to watch at the Parkview Hotel Orange Emus Foundation 10s rugby tournament on the weekend.

The players included an eclectic mix of young Bogan Bulls and Nyngan Tigers plus some handy footballers from Dubbo, Cowra and Bathurst - which “on paper” would be hard to beat.
Unfortunately, the team failed to make the finals of the competition on a countback, but that didn’t deter them from having a good time in Orange raising money to help injured footballers in regional NSW.
Included in the team were Bogan Bulls players Lachie Donnelly, Jack McLaughlin and Will Boag; Nyngan Tigers Aidan Bermingham, Cale Dunn, and Charlie Wykes; Newcastle-based Nyngan boys Stirling and Hunter Carter; Sydney-based NRL recruit Cooper Black; Dubbo-based Cooper Ryan, Blake Merritt, Preston Simpson, and Max Rumble; Cowra representative rugby players Joe and Rory Sullivan; Nathan Dusan and Ollie Kemp from Bathurst; and Ollie Hoskin from Orange.
The boys lost their first game against St Albans Berkshire by a try; but went on to defeat the Warringah Hillbillies and the Sydney Schooners.
Twenty teams from Sydney and regional NSW took part in the competition which drew a crowd of more than 3000 people.
The Moree Bulls won the grand final, defeating Goosey Sports 37-5.
