Another fantastic week of twilight golf has been run and win, with 94 players hitting the fairways last week.

With only four weeks remaining (as at Tuesday, March 5) things are certainly hotting up at the top of the ladder, with 11 teams still within striking distance to claim this season’s title. The closeness of the competition year after year is testament to the modified and finely-tuned handicapping system used successfully for many years now.

The handicapping system used was the brainchild of the great man Reg Simpson, and we are forever grateful for his foresight and intellect when coming up with the idea.

A reminder, no subs can be used in the final three rounds and keep moving on the course.

Round 19 winners included Hawley’s Engineering, Sheather’s Mobile Contracting, Food-works, Royden Rockers, Daniel Martin Plumbing, Hack-Attack, The Swingers, Rough Nuts, Rycon ‘Fairway to Heaven’, Vanes Buses and Lister’s Lunatics.

The round 19 weekly winners with a massive score of 50 points was Rycon ‘Fairway to Heaven’. Well done to the team of Brett and Cody Rope, Tyler Martin and Lisa Herbert (sub).

The twilight golf top 10 (at the end of round 19) is CGD Earthscaping (26 points), Neill Earthmoving (25), Sheather’s Mobile Contracting (23), Lister’s Lunatics (23), Stanton Building (22), Crack-N-Plumbers (21), Daniel Martin Plumbing (20), Ausmine Engineering (19), Foodworks (19), and Royden’s Rockers (19).
