Nyngan Junior League back in action for 2026

Junior rugby league is underway again at Nyngan.

The Nyngan Junior League season is underway, with the Tigers travelling to Dubbo for round one on Saturday, March 2.

The first round of the Dubbo and District Junior Rugby League competition was “respect round” with players and supporters encouraged to support their teammates, obey the referee, use positive language, include everyone and value the volunteers.

The Tigers committee congratulated players, coaches, volunteers and families on a fantastic start to the season.

“It was great to see teamwork, sportsmanship and plenty of Tigers spirit on display across all age groups,” a spokesperson said.

Next week, teams will be split between Nyngan and Narromine for round two.
